FAQs

What is a re-fashion show?

A tribute to fashion designers who craft sustainable clothing, accessories, and jewelry with a thoughtful design.

Why should you come?

Did you know that our current fashion industry and consumption patterns have a significant impact on our environment?

Come be inspired by change makers and support our very own UpCycle Creative Reuse Center to celebrate Earth Day Weekend. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to UpCycle, so feel good about supporting a non-profit that annually is saving 27,000 pounds of materials out of the waste stream for art, learning and business purposes.

Connect with other sustainably stylish professionals and use our networking board. Capture the moment in our photo booth. Shop the innovative pieces from our designers after the show. Design your own upcycled momento of the evening to take home at the UpCycle art space.

Will there be parking?

On nights and weekends, guests may use the whole parking lot, from The Garden ALX to Eisenhower Ave. -roughly 80 spaces. We ask that clients and guests do not park on the other side of the lot that belongs to Scramble and the yoga studio. Should you need it, there is overflow parking available one block away at 5001 Eisenhower Ave.

How can I walk the runway as an attendee?

We have limited spaces available for attendees to strut their stuff on the runway. Email refashion2024@gmail.com to request a spot. Spots are given on a first come, first served basis.

Will there be food?

There will be a curated menu of treats and mocktails from Buddin' Bakery available for purchase at the show.

Can I meet the designers?

Yes! The designers will be part of a Q&A panel immediately following the show, and many of them will be displaying their work for sale at the show.
